Welcome

The ever-changing relationship between sea and land has been the focus of my attention this year. The waves roll over the sand and shingle and then retreat leaving even the tiniest particle of sand or flotsam adjusted, sometimes in the very slightest way but changed none the less. This is a life lesson I feel, nothing is permanent, every sentient being or every thing is merely transient.

Like those particles of sand, we are moved and adjusted throughout our lives and we bump into and sit beside each other sometimes touching, sometimes not. Then life’s force moves us on.

In spite of this constant change, we strive for peace and calm. Can we reflect this in art…….yes I think so.
